(Ages 7-17)
Farming Aprenticeship Program: Get Involved
Our Young Farmers will gain hands on experience in Urban Farming techniques from seed to soil planting, transplanting, composting, water catchment systems, day to day maintenance and harvesting. We will also be hosting a special session on solar irrigation by Family First Solar.
By the end of their apprenticeship, Young Farmers will be able to identify a host of herbs that grow wild in their communities, plan out their crop season, and successfully grow, harvest & utilize all of their crops.
