Come Take A Ride Thru Black History!! We Kickin Off #GrassrootsBlockPartyWeekend with A Tour Through "D Mecca" Highlighting its many contributions to our quest for Liberation throughout History. Led by Baba Malik Yakini.
We will visit sites like 2nd Baptist Church and its connection to the Underground Railroad.
Stopping by Clairmount and 12th Street where the "Rebellion of 67" started.
Visiting New Bethel Church where the National Guard attacked an R.N.A Conference in 1969.
Our story is filled with stories of Fighting back against this oppressive system. We then will end the evening with Movie Night and Networking Mixer at General Baker Institute.
